From the M1 Southbound: |
| Leave at Junction 19, take the A14 to Junction 10 and then follow the A6 southwards by-passing Rushden. Continue for a further 5 miles until you come to a roundabout. Take first left exit from this (signed Thurleigh). After 2 miles, take third turning to your left to Thurleigh (again signed). The Windmill is the first house on your left as you approach the village (1 mile from the junction). |
| If joining the M1 South of Junction 19, exit at Junction 15 on the A508 to Northampton East, which becomes the A45. Continue on towards Wellingborough, by-passing it to the South (you turn right at the roundabout just before getting to Wellingborough). After 3 miles take the slip road off the dual carriageway signed to Rushden. Go all the way through Rushden, following signs to Bedford and the A6. After joining the end of the Rushden by-pass, continue for a further 5 miles as above. |
